We are born sinners…and that’s cool

For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God

The journey, path, or spiritual walk… whatever you want to call it and whatever resonates with you the most is far from easy or simple. Actually it’s really hard. We make mistakes, we hopefully learn from them, and then we make them again, until we go through the painful process of “conviction” brought from consequences. Yet, we are born sinners. We are fall short of the glory of God. None of us were meant to walk a perfect path because we are not perfect. Only God is truly perfect, but how many times do we beat ourselves up for falling short of God’s glory? I think sometimes the best thing we need to do for our own personal sanity is to take a step back, take a deep breath, and just receive God’s love and accept our sinfulness (in all it’s “dirtiness”) and embrace our perfect and loving God.
