Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.

Lately I’ve been loving these nature pictures where I’m clearly just looking into a body of water. Pretty cliche huh? haha. Who else feels stressed out right now with everything going on? 2020 hasn’t been the year that any of us could have planned for, first the “Rona” virus how like to call it and now… Black Lives Matters protests going global. Which is great! It’s been a long time coming since the dismantling of systemic racism and it is actually pretty amazing to see it all happen before our eyes.. But how many times can we get lost in the past, or in worry of the future? As a result, we miss the opportunity to truly live for today! I love how Paul says in the book of Romans to rejoice in the confident hope. Hmm.. that word confident. Having a confidence that no matter what we are facing right now, through the other side is God’s faithfulness and promise over our lives. During these times, it’s not the time to remember the past by wanting to re live it, or wishing it were different, or to focus on the future with any worry or doubt. It’s the time to pray for change. Change for ourselves and change for the world. God has a plan and I pray that you will also believe in God’s faithfulness through it all. So let’s be patient and use our weapon of prayer and action… to make the world a better place.
