Waiting on God’s timing…

I am worn out waiting for your rescue, but I have put my hope in your word.

Psalm 119:81

I love this verse in the book of Psalms because it shows King David’s desperation of where he was in his life and what he was facing, yet he still had hope in God. I just love how real he was in recognizing that he was tired and worn out from waiting for that moment where God would rescue him. Then he says “I have put my hope in your word,” and I ask myself, what does God’s word say? Well for one God’s word tells us to never be afraid and to trust Him. Is there anything in your life that you are waiting for God to change? Maybe you’re waiting for God to give you a breakthrough? Or maybe you’re waiting for God to save a family member? Maybe for a new job? A relationship? A friendship to change? Whatever it is that you are waiting for I just want to encourage you by letting you know that God hears us. He knows exactly what it is we need, how we need it, and most importantly He does hear our prayers. In the Bible God constantly tells us to not be afraid and to trust Him. I think for myself, in these times of waiting for my own personal breakthroughs the best thing that I can do is just be grateful. Do my best with what I got and move forward trusting that God will always be there and He is answering my prayers. I pray that He will give you peace as you continue your waiting as well.

Have a blessed week πŸ™‚

  1. Waiting is and can be hard to do. I do struggle with waiting on His timing. That is when I am reminded about to go and help someone else. Helping others takes my mind off of what I am waiting for.
