For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
2 Corinthians 4: 12-18

In the scripture above Paul is talking about Christians facing this world for believing in Jesus and how it is worth the trouble because of eternity that awaits for us. Maybe you’re not a huge believer, or you believe but you also believe in different religions. Like I’ve said before and will continue to say, God the creator of the universe, speaks to everyone differently. I believe He knows how to get our attention to bring us to Him individually. He will use people, images, signs, music, circumstances, anything to get our attention. That being said I want to move towards what I was feeling or thinking when I read this scripture, “this too shall pass.” As we all know, life is hard. Sometimes we have great days, and sometimes we have hard days. Sometimes the year is awesome and everything is looking up, and other times the year is going horrible and things keep happening that we can’t control. Well in those circumstances, this too shall pass. What God wants us to focus on according to Paul in this scripture is not on our circumstances, but on the eternal life that is after this life. If you don’t really believe, or haven’t felt that conviction yet, that’s okay. I struggled with that myself for years. Yet, it has given me so much relief and peace to truly believe in Jesus as dying on the cross for us so that we can have that chance into eternity. When life gets hard, it’s an amazing feeling to look up at the sky that God created and think, it’s only temporary. This life is temporary. What we’re going through is temporary. The seasons, just like that shrub that is frozen with icicles which is absolutely beautiful will melt. Whatever you’re facing right now, whether it’s good or bad, cherish it. If it’s good be so grateful, and if it’s bad, be grateful for another breath and look up. God is with you. Focus on that eternal life, and realize that this too shall past.
Praying you all have an amazing and blessed week ahead of you.
