In the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time.
Titus 1:2
God is a God who does not lie. Our hope is not in our money, or what we can accomplish, but it’s on what He has done for us. He has given us eternal life, by dying on the cross for us to be free. When I think about that, everything else seems so insignificant. Like it doesn’t matter that we care so much about this world because God is so above it. What He wants is for us to bring souls into heaven. And that is done through a gentle heart.
Dear God,
I know that many times I fail at having a gentle heart. When my mind is filled with judgment and fear I want to have a rash heart towards others. Please help me to trust you, look towards you and remember you, so you can be the one to give me peace and be that gentle heart towards others.
