The light shines in the darkness has not overcome it
John 1:5
In the book of John the disciple writes about how God created the world in the beginning. With everything beginning in the darkness and then how the light is too strong and the darkness cannot overcome the darkness. These days with the pandemic and so much in the world going on we can clearly see the darkness, but there is great hope knowing that although we see the darkness the light will always be stronger. Knowing that we have a God whose light expels all evil and who is filled with justice and truth brings me much needed peace. Whenever I’m feeling helpless over our circumstances, I always know that we have God who is greater than it all. If you are dealing with feelings of being hopeless either globally or personally, go to God. Go find rest at His feet and know that His light will always fighter harder and brighter than any darkness that we may be facing.
