As we’re in the middle of this pandemic, the elections coming soon, and more and more information about the madness of our society is coming out, it can be hard to trust God. I have no idea where I’d be if I didn’t believe that God is sovereign. I’m sure I would be afraid, angry, and scared, but thank God he is sovereign. In fact God is sovereign through the storms, the good times, the rejections, redirections, failures, and successes, He is the one who chooses which doors open and which closes. Let that sink in…. He created not just the world… but the moon and stars, black holes, and Sun, and milky waves. That is the same God that sent His son to die for us on the cross so that we could experience eternity with Him. That same God is also the one who is sovereign over the elections, pandemic, and the future of our world. What’s our role in this? To do and try our best. To love others, and to not worry. Hard to do right? Well I guess I can just leave you with this thought… God is sovereign, He is in control.
